The organization organized Consumer Awareness programme in the community. The habit of the slum dwellers is to make purchases in piece meal Due to poverty. The business sector took the advantage by selling duplicate and adulterated items. This practice was not harmful from economic point of view also.

The organizations organize the camps for creating awareness:

• Making purchasing from authorized dealers.

             To check the price list displayed on the shop or not.

• Purchasing of company packed items.
• Identifications of manufacturing and expiry dates.
• To check the price printed on pack-whether in original shape or not.
• To obtain receipt in list of prove paid, guarantee / warrant cards.
• To check whether the weights and measures are acquainted by the authorized 
• Agency or not.
• Agency concerned to lodge complaints.
